Unfortunatley, Microsoft has dropped support for Java in its new operating system XP and new web browser Internet Explorer 6. As approx. 90% of the Internet uses Java, this is some what against current trends. Hence users of I.E. 6 & XP visiting this site, may experience problems viewing Virtual Tours.
You might find that you actually have Java installed and all that is needed is for it to be enabled. To perform this follow the below instructions:
Open Internet Explorer.
Goto Tools, Internet Options and click the Security
tab.
Then click the Custom Level
button.
Scroll down to Microsoft VM if heading is
available.(If not use the download link below to install Java).
Change setting from Disable Java to High
Safety (as per image below).
Microsoft has now included
the Java
virtual machine in its latest service pack for Windows XP. This is available
as a FREE CD ROM from www.microsoft.com or can be downloaded here.
Unfortunately, it is a 18 meg file, but is a one off download
and will allow you to view the Internet as it should be: "Interactive,
Informative and Fun".
Please close
this window
to return to the Virtual Tour.
